PHOENIX (AP) San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval is expected to miss at least the next two games and return to his home in Venezuela due to personal reasons.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said on his pregame show with KNBR radio on Saturday that he hopes Sandoval will rejoin the team Tuesday against Florida.

Sandoval was in the lineup against Arizona on Saturday and entered hitting .266 with six homers and 41 RBIs in 95 games.
