The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's office warns of a phone scam.
Officials say a caller identifies themselves as a sheriff's official and tells people they have an outstanding warrant.
The caller then asks for money to be wired. Sheriff's officials say this is not a normal practice of the office.
If you receive a call, contact authorities.
