Save Mart supermarkets will pay more than $2.5 million to 35 California counties, after a lawsuit alleging the company violated California hazardous waste laws.
Save Mart operates as Food Maxx, Maxx Value Foods and Lucky supermarkets.
Santa Barbara County will receive nearly $7,000 in the settlement.
