Santa Barbara International Film Festival kicks off Thursday

Santa Barbara International Film Festival underway

Hollywood is headed to the south coast, and the party starts Thursday night.

The 28th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival, SBIFF, kicks off with the U.S. premiere of "Disconnect."

Through February 3rd, the film festival will showcase international and independent films from 49 countries.

Organizers say there will be 13 world premiers and 2 U.S. premieres.
