Santa Barbara man honored for saving toddler

A Santa Barbara man is honored for saving the life of a toddler.
On Tuesday, the American Red Cross and the Santa Barbara City Fire Department presented Rick Robledo with a community hero award. Last month, Rick was visiting the home of friends when 20-month-old Jared Herrara began to choke.
Jared was unresponsive, and Rick immediately performed a series of Heimlich Maneuvers on the boy. After the third attempt, a nickel popped loose, and Jared was okay.
