Santa Barbara police bust suspected gang member and drug dealer

Police in Santa Barbara say they nabbed a local gang member and his girlfriend for allegedly selling herion.

Police say the narcotics unit wrapped up a two month investigation with the arrests of 28-year-old Edgar Cordova and 22-year-old Alicia Marie Robles. Cordova had been released on community supervision for burglary when he was arrested on the drug charges.

Detectives searched the home Cordova and Robles share in the 100 block of Nogal Drive last week and say they found 18 grams of heroin valued at approximately $1000.00, a scale, and packaging material. Both suspects are being held on $30,000 bail.
