Santa Barbara Police say they've arrested a man they believe beat another man until he was convulsing with a seizure.

Around 1:00a.m. Sunday, officers say they found Alexander Milovich, 26, bloodied and unconscious in the Santa Barbara City Hall parking lot in the 700 block of Anacapa Street.

Officers say a witness was able to identify the suspect after he was pulled over nearby.

Tyler Zamora Lopez, 23, was arrested and booked into jail.

Officers say they found an unloaded 22-caliber revolver, ammunition and a spent cartridge casing in the car.

The victim couldn't recall what happened that night because of his brian injury, officers say. He's expected to make a full recovery.
