Santa Barbara shooting suspects arrested in Nevada

Santa Barbara police say two people have been arrested in Nevada, in connection with the shooting at a Santa Barbara home.

That shooting happened back on March 1 on the 1500 block of Gillespie Street. One man inside the home was shot in the head during the incident.

Today, detectives say 52-year-old Jack Mills and his wife, 50-year-old Rebecca Mills were arrested in Pahrump, Nevada. Officers say Jack Mills was sitting in his black Volvo sedan when police caught up with him. Officers believe that was the same vehicle used as the get-away car immediately after the shooting.

Both Mills and his wife were booked into the Nye County Correctional Facility. Jack Mills was charged with attempted murder. Rebecca Mills was charged with accessory to murder. Both will be held in Nevada pending extradition procedures. The firearm used in the shooting has not been found.
