Santa Barbara SWAT and K-9 teams searching for possible suspect

The Santa Barbara Police are on scene after an alarm was set off at the Far West Gun and Supply store on the 2000 block of State Street.

Police received a call around 4:00 Thursday morning after a burglary alarm was set off.

Police arrived on scene within minutes of the alarm. That's where they found evidence that someone had forced themselves into the building.

The SWAT team was immediately called out and secured a one block perimeter around the building. There are currently no evacuations for homes and business in the surrounding areas.

The SWAT and K-9 crews are searching the gun shop for any possible suspect.
