For the second time in ten days, the Santa Barbara Zoo has welcomed the birth of a giraffe calf.
Zoo officials say Betty Lou, a five-year old Masai giraffe, gave birth on Sunday afternoon.
They say the calf is nursing normally. Zoo officials say the giraffe calf is a girl.
Audrey, the Zoo's other female Masai, gave birth to a male calf named Dane on April 18th.
