Santa Margarita Fire now more than 750 acres/jumped Park Hill Road

Fire crews tell us the fire burning outside Santa Magarita has now consumed more than 650 acres and shows no sign of containment. The first started around 11:30 this morning and has been spreading every since.

We have no reports of any buildings being burned, but it has jumped parts of Park Hill Road. Mandatory evacutations are underway along that stretch of road. And KSBY has talked to one resident of the area who says she was asked to take what she could and get out.
