Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce holds Cash Mob at local farmer's market

The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce is supporting local businesses.

They held a Cash Mob on Saturday morning at the Town Center Mall Farmer's Market.

A group of people from the chamber got together and shopped at the farmer's market to support the local vendors there.

All of the vendors at that market either grow, produce or make the products they sell. Many of them are also certified organic.

"We feel that we're doing a service here in the community by providing a farmer's market for people who work Monday through Friday and cannot attend a weekday-midday market," farmer's market manager Christy Laschiver said.

The Town Center Mall Farmer's Market runs every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
