There may still be a week left before he officially comes, but the Easter bunny made a quick stop in Santa Maria Saturday for an early celebration.
It was the ninth annual Spring Eggstravaganza at Preisker Park.
Families turned out to try their hand at an egg hunt and if they were not so lucky hunting for eggs, there were plenty of other things to do.
However for a lucky few the hunt led them to one of 12 golden eggs, redeemable for a giant gift basket filled with Easter treats.
"The Easter Bunny's here and I don't know if he's been out to find any yet but he might have helped, actually, hide them," said Organizer Chris Economon.
The event lasted all day and was free of charge.
