Santa Maria felon behind bars for carrying concealed weapon

A Santa Maria man is in jail after officers say he was walking around with a concealed gun.
Santa Maria Police arrested 38-year-old, Jonelle Smith, in the 600 block of South Pine before 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
Police say they responded to calls about a man walking with a gun.
Officers say they found Smith and arrested him for being a felon in possession of a loaded sawed-off shotgun and ammunition.
Smith was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
