Santa Maria High School no longer on lockdown after bomb scare

Bomb scare triggers partial lockdown of local high school

Santa Maria High School was on partial lockdown for about one hour after an explosive device was found by a city worker Wednesday morning, according to Police Chief Ralph Martin.

The Santa Barbara County bomb squad discovered a dummy grenade in a park on the Morrison and Lincoln side of the school.
