After a two year closure, the Santa Maria Karting Association will be open Sunday for folks to put their pedal to the medal.
The SMKA has been in Santa Maria for over 50 years.
The track was closed because of Federal Aviation Administration security requirements.
But, the FAA, Santa Maria Airport and the SMKA have agreed it will open tomorrow with a multi-year lease.
