The Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce gave some kids new computers today.
During a luncheon at the Elks Lodge, five kids got brand new, still in the box, laptops.
The donations are through the computer connection program.
They go to students who are chosen by their schools.
"It's a wonderful program really to see the elation and the looks on the kid's faces some of them don't know and so it's really a big thing," said Bob Hatch, CEO of the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce.
The program has gone on for more than ten years in Santa Maria.
