Santa Maria man arrested for assault with deadly weapon

A Santa Maria man is in jail tonight for assault with a deadly weapon.

Santa Maria Police said a shooting happened Friday, at a motel in the 16-hundred block of South Broadway.
They said a woman was unintentionally hit by gunfire.
On Sunay, police arrested the suspect, 24 year-old Scott Moore of Santa Maria.
He was arrested in the 800 block of Blosser Road for assault with a deadly weapon, as well as unrelated charges for a domestic violence incident.

Moore was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
The woman is expected to be okay.
