Santa Maria man in jail for child molestation and exploitation

A man is in jail after Santa Maria Police say he molested a child and took nude pictures of the child.
30 year old Longilos Reyes Ruiz of Santa Maria was arrested Tuesday on child molestation and exploitation.
Police say he had been engaging in sexual activities with the victim over an extended period of time.
They say Ruiz and the victim knew each other, but details about the nature of their relationship are not going to be released.
He is being held at the Santa Barbara County Jail with a bail set at $250,000.
