A Santa Maria man was sentenced Thursday for vehicular manslaughter in connection with the death of his girlfriend in February of 2012.

Jack Misiaszek was sentenced to three years and four months in prison for the death of Antoinette Raygoza. He struck her with his vehicle after the couple had argued in the 1600 block of McClelland Street.

Misiaszek was also sentenced to seven years and six months in prison for a separate conviction for attempted carjacking with gang enhancement.
