Santa Maria police arrest two men on robbery charge

Two 19-year-old men are taken into custody, after officers say they were caught trying to rob someone in Santa Maria.
Police were called out to the area of Fesler Street and McClelland at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a robbery that had just taken place. When they got there, they say the suspects were in the process of robbing another victim.
Jesus Alvarez and Jose Hernandez were arrested. Officers say Alvarez is involved in a gang in Guadalupe.
Police are trying to figure out if there are other victims out there.
