Santa Maria Police arrested a woman they say is responsible for a hit and run Thursday night.
Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Stowell and Bradley Roads. Officers say Marlys Janice Thole drove away from the scene.
Her car was later spotted in the city. When police tried to pull Thole over, they say she drove away. After a brief chase, she was arrested.
Thole was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail and faces various charges including felony hit and run, felony evading, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police say the person Thole hit was taken to a local hospital with minor injures and later released.
