Santa Maria Police look for suspect in armed robbery

Santa Maria Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery.

Police say a man wearing a Halloween mask went into the Baskin Robbins on North Broadway around 6:30 Thursday evening. Police say the man threatened the employee with a gun and demanded cash.

The man is described as possible Hispanic, wearing a dark colored beanie, Halloween-type mask, blue pants and white shoes.

Before police arrived, the man fled the scene with cash. Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
