Santa Maria police officers are looking for a group of suspects after a shooting in the city.

That shooting happened just before 8:20 p.m. Monday near the 7-11 on South Blosser.

Officers say an 18-year-old was standing in the alley when a blue car drove by. Four people were in that car. Officers say one of them then yelled a gang name and began shooting at the teen.

The teen was hit in the right thigh. The injury is not considered life threatening.
