A Santa Maria soldier got a huge hometown welcome Tuesday at the Santa Maria Airport.
Dozens of family members and friends greeted U. S. Army Specialist James Ross who just returned from serving the past year in Kuwait.
"Being away from home is definitely the hardest part. I a big on family and not being able to see them but every six months at soonest is a little hard," said U. S. Army Specialist Ross.
He is two-thirds although his second tour of duty in Kuwait.
his is his second time serving in Kuwait where is about two thirds done with this tour of duty.
