Atascadero elementary school placed on lockdown; reports of gunshots

School officials at Atascadero's Santa Rosa Academic Academy tell KSBY News the school has been placed on lockdown Thursday morning.

School officials would not comment on why the school has been placed on lockdown. But, parents who were on campus tell KSBY News they heard gunshots and were rushed into the school by law enforcement.
