An appearance on a national television show to help raise money for kids with cancer is the icing on the cake for a local teen.
Blake Colvin, 16, will appear on the Nate Berkus show on Tuesday.
She created "Cupcakes for Cancer" in 2007.
So far, it has raised more than $65,000 for kids with cancer.
Thousands of dollars have been donated to the "Make-A-Wish Foundation" and local families.
Blake wants to expand cupcakes for cancer nationally.
He said, "Hopefully, many people will see it, tell their kids or tell their friends and then want to go on our Web site. Then, email us to get a starter kit to start their own cupcakes for cancer.
You can see Blake on the Nate Berkus show Tuesday at 2 pm on KSBY.
