SB Co. Government Center expansion project complete
The Santa Barbara County Government Center in Santa Maria is now bigger. Monday officials gathered for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the expansion of the Joseph Centeno Building. The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors uses the center on Betteravia. The additional 2,000 square feet includes a new lobby, rest rooms, and more space for visitors. Construction began in September of 2012. The Board of Supervisors will resume meeting in Santa Maria Tuesday July 9.
