The Seattle Seahawks have placed Lompoc native Vai Taua on the practice squad/suspended list. The rookie running back has spent almost the entire season on the team's practice squad.
Seattle did not disclose the reason for the four-game suspension.
Taua first signed with Seattle in mid-August after the Buffalo Bills released the undrafted free agent. The Seahawks have signed and released the Cabrillo High graduate on three separate occasions since then.
Taua rushed for 4,512 yards and 45 touchdowns during his career at the University of Nevada. He also racked up 561 receiving yards and hauled in 8 TD catches for the Wolfpack.
Taua has not played in an NFL regular season game for Seattle this season.
