CAL FIRE says a search and rescue operation at Montana de Oro State Park has now turned into a recovery.
CAL FIRE and Coast Guard crews searched the water off Montana de Oro Thursday for a person who went into the water near Spooner's Cove and did not resurface.
Emergency crews received the 911 call around 4:45 p.m.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office says the search was called off Thursday night because of the weather and other conditions.
Officials say the search will continue Friday morning.
