SEASIDE, Calif. (AP) - Police in the Monterey County community of Seaside have arrested a woman after the body of an infant was found hidden under her house.
The Monterey Herald reports Saturday (http://bit.ly/WiPXC2 ) 39-year-old Jennifer Cecelia Warren was arrested for investigation of murder.
Police said Warren went to a police station Friday to report suspicious activity in her neighborhood. During questioning, police said she told detectives a baby's body had been in the crawl space of her house for about two years.
Detectives said when they went there, they found a significantly decomposed corpse.
Police did not immediately release the baby's age or sex, and wouldn't say whether Warren is the mother.
