Click it, or ticket. The Lompoc Police Department says it plans to be out in full force this month searching for unbelted drivers and passengers. It's all part of the Click it or Ticket campaign that aims to keep the seat belt issue at the forefront of people's minds. Officers say they plan to aggressively enforce the law to those violators who do not buckle up.
Officers say teens will be of particular focus. They're seat belt usage rate is far behind adults. The department says to buckle up, because patrols will be out at all hours.
