Second Annual Coptoberfest Saturday in Lompoc

The Lompoc Police Foundation is hosting its Second Annual Coptoberfest Saturday.

The event is being held at the Dick Dewees Center in Lompoc.

Guests can enjoy beer tasting, food, auctions, and live music.

Police are even rewarding people for being safe. Designated drivers get in for free. Officers will also be on-hand with breathalyzers so people can make sure they're safe to drive if they do decide to taste beer.

"These men and women, they're willing to put their lives on the line everyday for our safety, and to help our community, and this is a very small give back to them to show you know what, this community does care about you," said Tony Durham, a Volunteer.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Proceeds will help cover the costs of new equipment for the department.

Tickets cost $40 pre-sale and $50 at the door. You must be 21 or over to get in.

To purchase tickets, email contact@lp-foundation.org or call (805) 714-1140.
