LOS ANGELES (AP) - A second wrongful death lawsuit has been filed in connection with a helicopter crash that killed three men during a shoot for a reality television show.
City News Service says the suit was filed Thursday in Los Angeles by the family of 45-year-old Michael Donatelli who was among the trio killed in February. The men were filming a scene for an untitled military-themed show being produced for the Discovery Channel.
The suit accuses the pilot, owners of the helicopter and show producers of negligence.
An afterhours message left for Discover was not immediately returned Thursday.
The mother of cameraman Darren Rydstrom filed a similar lawsuit in May.
