The U.S. Secret Service alerted the Paso Robles Police Department today that counterfeit $100 bills could be circling the area. No suspicious bills have been reported yet.

According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, counterfeit bills do not have the 'green to black' ink on the '100' in the lower right hand corner. Also, between 'S' and 'T' in the United States of America banner, the negative space is filled with black ink on counterfeit bills.

If you suspect you've been given a counterfeit bill or know someone who is in possession of these bills, contact the police immediately.
