For seniors out there who do not work out because they think they are too old, too tired, in too much pain or even too broke have we got the class for you.

It's called Silver Sneakers and is offered at Champions Health Club in Atascadero. It's geared toward seniors who range in age from 60-80.

Some of the folks taking the class are hoping to feel young again.

"I'm 65. I used to think that was old, I don't feel old, but I do feel younger," said Linda Johnson.

Others are nursing injuries that come with age. "I just got off knee surgery so I'm just trying to stay limber. Someday I'll get out and play tennis again," said Charles Bove.

They workout to the likes of Frank Sinatra with an instructor who has been specially trained to teach this class.

"It's all done on a chair, so it's balance and flexibility and strength training. We're going to get them firm and we're going to get them balance, but without any dizziness," said Brenda Bullard, who even got her own mom enrolled in the class.

"I'm not in as much pain, I have a lot of joint pain and fatigue. I was tired all the time and I have a lot more energy," said Johnson who takes the class free of charge through supplemental insurance called Silver Sneakers.

She also said the club will even check your insurance to see if you qualify for a Silver Sneakers card.
