San Luis Obispo police are warning people in the city to be on the lookout for burglars.
Police say since December of last year, two men have broken into six homes in San Luis Obispo between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. and stolen various items including jewelry, electronics, and cash.
Some people who've been targeted say the burglars knock on the doors of homes to see if anyone is home.
They say if someone answers, the suspected burglars ask for someone who does not live there, and then, when they feel it is safe, break in.
The latest break-in happened in the 2300 block of Flora.
Police say the owner interrupted the two people inside, who are both described as Hispanic men, and one of them is believed to be in his late 20's with black hair and a black moustache.
If you notice any suspicious activity, you are asked to call police.
They are reminding everyone to lock their doors and windows and keep valuable items out of plain sight if possible.
