UNDATED (AP) -
A series of earthquakes have rattled California areas in the south. The largest was a magnitude-4.0 quake at 8:18 last night some 14 miles east-southeast of Julian in rural San Diego County. That was followed by a magnitude-3.3 at 11:54 p.m. in the Coso Junction area of California's eastern desert, some 140
miles north of Los Angeles. A magnitude-3.0 hit that same area this morning at 1:06.
