Sex offender who removed ankle bracelet caught

A registered sex offender accused of cutting off his electronic ankle bracelet has been found, and is back in custody.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies say Albert Lee Allen was arrested for no bail parolee violation. Investigators say, an off-duty officer spotted Allen walking his dog and recognized him last Friday in Buellton. Deputies say they were able to arrest him shortly after he was spotted.
