SF police look for suspect in Pride weekend attack

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - San Francisco police are asking the public to help identify a suspect who brutally kicked and robbed a woman during the city's Pride weekend festivities.

Police spokesman Albie Esparza says the attack happened early Sunday after a woman was robbed of her smartphone and purse by a group of men and women following "Pink Saturday" festivities.

Esparza says surveillance video shows one male suspect viciously kicking the victim in the face and knocking her unconscious after the group robbed her. She is recuperating.

Police later arrested a man and two women but say the suspect who apparently kicked the victim is still on the loose. No names have been released.

Esparza says an investigation is ongoing to see if the suspects arrested are behind any other Pride weekend-related crimes.
