Shark advisory signs are posted at Guadalupe Dunes beach after a surfer spotted a great white shark.
The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Management says the ten-foot long shark was seen in the breaking waves at the south end of the parking lot just before 11:30 am on Tuesday.
They say it was not acting aggressive.
The shark advisory signs will be up until July 19th at noon, unless there are more sightings.
