Santa Barbara Sheriff's detectives are hoping surveillance photos will help them track down a couple suspected of using a stolen credit card to buy electronics equipment.
Detectives say back on April 19, a 60-year-old woman discovered her wallet was missing while she was shopping at the Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta.
When she called her bank and credit card companies, she found that one of her credit cards had been used to buy more than $6,000 worth of computer equipment at Best Buy and the Apple Store. Both purchases occurred the day her wallet disappeared.
Investigators obtained surveillance photos from Best Buy showing a man and woman purchasing the equipment with the stolen card. If you recognize either suspect, please call detectives at: (805) 681-4150 or the Sheriff's Anonymous Tip Line at: (805) 681-4171.
