Showers still likely Friday night, better chance north

Computer models still like a cold front to push through the Central Coast Friday evening, arriving around 7pm for the north coast and pushing through the area before sun-up Saturday. The system doesn't look to have very good dynamics locally, and will be moving quickly so it will hold total rainfall under .40" with little or no measurable rain south of the Santa Ynez mountains.

However Friday will be pleasant in the daylight hours with mid 60s on tap. Saturday will be dry but in the wake of the cold front highs will only be in the lower 60s and it'll be windy 15-25mph out of the NW in the afternoon.

Sunday-Tuesday winds go offshore again and with clear skies low to mid 70s are the projected highs with a few spots potentially pushing 80 before that ridge of high pressure slides east gradually mid-week.
