Shumey was sane at the time of mother's murder, jurors find

Jurors decided on Thursday that Christopher Shumey was sane when he murdered his mother in San Luis Obispo in 2011. The verdict was read in court just moments ago.
He was found guilty of second-degree murder earlier this month. This was the second phase of his trial.
