The Red Cross needs your help spreading holiday cheer to troops overseas.

Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo hosted a card-making event last week. If you couldn't make it and still want to send a card, there is still time! Cards must be postmarked by Friday December 7, 2012 for a timely delivery.

Some guidelines to keep in mind: Only cards are being accepted, do not send letters, and all cards should be postmarked no later than December 7. For more information, click here.

Since 2006 The Red Cross has mailed more than 4 million cards to the military.
