Sister search for Cal man's killer ends in arrest

SANTEE, Calif. (AP) - It took two years and more resolve but a Santee woman's investigation into her brother's hit-and-run death ended in an arrest.
Barbara Yarborough tells KNSD-TV (http://bit.ly/W0gkiX ) she started her investigation when the California Highway Patrol case went cold. Yarborough bought her brother's motorcycle from a salvage yard and hired two former police officers to re-investigate.
Frank Yarborough was killed in 2011 by a truck making a U-turn near his Riverside County home.
One witness told investigators he'd seen nothing because he was getting lunch at a fast-food restaurant.
That man was arrested at his San Bernardino County home last week for investigation of felony hit-and-run. Thirty-nine-year-old Dixon Russell Dixon posted $50,000 bail and is due back in court in March.
A call to determine who's representing Dixon wasn't immediately returned.
