The blues for the Blues continued on Friday with a 16-3 loss in Sinsheimer Stadium to the visiting Menlo Park Legends. The Blues fell to 16-10 overall after their season-high fourth loss in a row.

The Blues allowed 2 runs in the first, but managed to tie it in the third with a 2-run double from Tanner Witt. They took their first lead of the game in the fourth on a run-scoring single by Cody Dufrene to make a 3-2 game.

However, the Legends capitalized on another Blues' error to regain a 4-3 lead and made it a 7-3 game on a 3-run home run to left-center from Grant Nelson.

The Legends broke open the game with 8 runs in the ninth inning thanks to a combined six walks from Blues relievers Robbie Rivera and Sean Mullen.

The Blues were outhit 12-6 in the game and committed 4 errors.

Nicholls State senior Kory Delange took the loss. He allowed 7 runs in five innings, but one one of the runs was earned.
