People on the Central Coast got together Saturday to raise the funds needed to repair the Cayucos Pier.
SLO Brew hosted a Cayucos Pier Benefit Concert Saturday afternoon.
Guests could listen to live music from the likes of Matt Costa, Cayucas, Makana, and others.
The event was free to attend, but guests could buy food and drinks. Proceeds will help cover pier repair costs.
"I believe it's the landmark of this community. For the town of Cayucos, I think it's the most significant historical landmark, as it plays into the landscape of the entire county. I think it's one of the more significant historic relics of our community," said Todd Newman, the owner of SLO Brew.
The pier is missing 14 pilings, and about $2 million in repairs are needed Right now, the pier is partially closed because of the damage.
