Some lucky kids will be getting bicycles on Wednesday.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department has refurbished bikes to give to kids for Christmas since 1989.
This year's event is at the Sheriff's Honor Farm on Kansas Avenue at 11 a.m.
This year the department's efforts were slowed by a large fire that destroyed the workshop and many of the bicycles.
Thanks to the hard work of sheriff's deputies, and some inmates, they were able to get back on track for this year's event.
