You know it's always nice to make a top ten list, and this week the city of San Luis Obispo made one worth bragging about.
The Los Angeles Times has placed San Luis Obispo in the top 10 places in the world where people should travel to in 20-13.
The author of the article talks about San Luis Obispo's Farmers Market on Thursday nights, the fine-dining options like Luna Red and Sidecar, the new Granada Hotel, of course the iconic Madonna Inn, the nearby wine country in Paso Robles, and the "rustic little town of Templeton" also nearby.
It was the only city in California to get a nod for the top 10 international destinations of this year. More proof, perhaps, There's No Place Like Home?
